Berlin was the first trip we took together with Markus, my boyfriend. We went there in early spring and stayed for a week. I LOVED LOVED LOVED BERLIN. SO MANY COOL PEOPLE, SO MUCH VEGAN FOOD (OH I WAS IN HEAVEN) AND SO MANY PLACES TO SEE AND THINGS TO DO.

Of course it is pretty hectic with all the architecture and street art, but I loved every bit of it and was really blown away by the energy of the city. It felt like Berlin never sleeps.

TOP 5 THINGS I ENJOYED MOST IN BERLIN:

◊ RIDING A BIKE IN THE OLD TEMPELHOF AIRPORT (which is now a HUGE park)
◊ SEEING THE POWERFUL HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL
◊ LOSING MY MIND IN ALL THOSE VEGAN STORES (especially Veganz)
◊ WANDERING AROUND THE COLOURFUL STREETS (so much graffiti everywhere)
◊ EATING SO MUCH VEGAN FOOD (ate vegan ice cream, burgers, dumplings, tortillas and so much more)

To sum up, I could move to Berlin just because of the food. And the art/culture scene is very cool as well. Definitely planning to go back in the future to discover more (and eat more vegan food.)

Travel date: March, 2016

Discovering around Berlin
