Last summer, me and my 2 besties decided that we need a holiday. Because one of us lives in Copenhagen and the other 2 in Estonia, we don’t see each other that often. For our little getaway, we chose Prague, because we all have been there before and fell in love with it in the first time.
PRAGUE IS SO MUCH LIKE PARIS. It’s breath-takingly beautiful and romantic, but it has more of this cool-youngster-hip-vibe and it is totally cheaper.
WHAT DID WE DO IN PRAGUE?
To be honest, we did not too much of the touristic stuff. The weather was perfectly summerish, so we mostly hanged around the city, drank A LOT of aperol and ate good food. We did went to see an exhibition in Narodni Galerie about Gerhard Richter, who is a German artist. (at least something cultural!)
When we got tired of the culture, we did a bit of shopping (girls…whatcha gonna do), discovered the Vnitroblock (definitely recommend), went to this Japanese restaurant Momoichi (10/10 recommend), joined a beer tasting (for 3€) at a hotel which was right down the street from where we lived, went to the farmer’s market to get fresh goods for breakfast, but most importantly, we just got to spend time together and talk about everyting important and unimportant.
We ended our trip where we stated it, at cafe Letka, which is a perfect brekkie spot, but in the evenings it turns into a even better cocktail place.
WHAT TO KEEP IN MIND WHEN VISITING PRAGUE?
What was so funny for us (e-country and stuff), was the fact that in SO many places you STILL could not pay with credit card, so when going to Prague, take cash!
I have so many good memories and feelings from the trip to Prague. I think this girls trip should be turned into a every-year tradition.
So, where should we go next?
